A cash balance plan is a type of qualified plan that qualifies for tax deferral and creditor protection under ERISA. It was introduced nearly 40 years ago but gained popularity when the Pension Protection Act of 2006 clarified specific rules, making this retirement plan more readily accessible. This course is designed to educate you on why cash balance plans are excellent tax strategies and how to identify ideal candidates for these plans.
